Looks like Seattle got hit with a pretty incredible wind/rain storm yesterday. The Seattle Times has a gallery of photos highlighting the damage. I can't remember a time growing up when the Seattle schools were closed for anything other than snow. I hope all of you Seattleites are doing well.
Yikes! It was pretty bad down here too - schools closed, powerlines down, people without power (my dad still has no power) but we are fine here. Crazy weather!
It was BAD!! We just got power last night after two days without. The eastside just got demolished. They are still without power here on Sunday morning. Trees down everywhere. Even here in the city! A huge tree at the Seattle Center blew over. How sad. Many trees on roofs or through roofs. I hope your house fared okay!
talked to Lynda yesterday - her new Woodinville neighborhood was devastated. She thinks they may be out of power for a week! Yikes! Luckily her house survived without incident.
