Holiday Recap
Our holiday week in brief:
- Celebrated Christmas with Roger, Tonya and our nephews on 12/23 here in Champaign.
- Hosted brunch for Julie's parents and Grandmother on Christmas day.
- Wednesday we went in for another ultrasound and midwife visit. Julie is measuring two weeks ahead, but that's not b/c baby is big (what we suspected), but b/c Julie has extra fluid. Baby and mom are both doing great, however. Picked out paint for the baby's room.
- Thursday Julie and I made the trek to IKEA in Chicago and walked away with just a crib/mattress - we had higher hopes. Nice to get out of town though.
- Friday I painted the baby's room while Julie picked up more baby essentials.
- Weekend - relaxed.
Yes, it was a Christmas and getting-ready-for-baby week. Logistically we are ready. Mentally...?
